Welcome to Brixworth Surgery

Brixworth is a rural friendly six partner surgery. We aim to provide personal and professional general practice to our community. In 2009 Brixworth Surgery merged with Guilsborough. The joint surgery is now called ‘The Saxon Spires.’

Our patients benefit from the modern premises with off-road parking in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside. All consultation rooms are on the ground floor and are disabled friendly. Marked disabled parking bays are near the main entrance.

We are keen to serve our community and will take on any patient who lives in our practice area or who moves into it. We believe patients should be able to choose their doctors, so are happy to take on those, within our practice area, who wish to change doctors. Similarly, if you do not like us we are happy for you to change to another practice. We cannot provide an adequate service to patients outside our area. So we do not take on or keep patients who move outside our practice area.

We aim to offer a high quality, caring and wide range of services on one site. We offer early morning and early evening appointments. If you would like someone to be with you whilst you are examined, then please ask for a chaperone.

We keep some urgent appointments for problems that arise on that day as well as offering routine appointments which can be booked in advance. The doctors and nurses keep a few appointments for things that can be dealt with over the phone.
